Valerie Staggs
I get my writing chops from the advertising biz where I was creative director and head copywriter at the agency I founded in 2002. After selling the agency, I launched a career as a freelance writer. My articles can be seen in South Florida lifestyle magazines and news outlets. I am also the author of "This Side of Heaven," a memoir chronicling the year following the death of my husband. When I'm not working, I can be found strumming the guitar (badly), playing golf or pickleball or wandering local streets with my adopted mutts, Axxl and Ozzy.
